Our Story

Your Neighborhood Café

Our owner, Rebecca

Rooted in community and fueled by great coffee, we’re a small neighborhood café in Mesa serving delicious, locally roasted coffee alongside thoughtfully crafted grab-and-go breakfast and lunch options. Our menu offers something for everyone, with a wide variety of plant-based and gluten-free choices made fresh and packed (mostly) to go.

At the heart of it all is our owner, Rebecca. A lifelong coffee lover from the Pacific Northwest, great coffee is quite literally in her roots. After searching the Valley high and low, she landed on the perfectly balanced espresso beans—smooth, rich, and deeply satisfying—the kind of espresso that rivals anything this side of the Siskiyou Mountains.

“People spend their hard-earned money here—they deserve a quality product at a reasonable price.”

Rebecca personally handcrafts our food menu with the same care and intention she brings to every cup of coffee. She takes recipe development and ingredient quality seriously, guided by a simple belief: “People spend their hard-earned money here—they deserve a quality product at a reasonable price.” From fresh, house-made chicken salad to made-to-order breakfast and lunch items, everything is prepared with purpose. Our baked goods and sweet treats are all made in house using Rebecca’s tried-and-true recipes.

One local favorite? Our house-made granola bars—the perfect balance of crispy, chewy, and not-too-sweet deliciousness. Rebecca is always refining and improving them, currently perfecting a higher-protein, easily digestible bar designed to fuel life on the go. Whether you’re heading out for a hike, a bike ride, a long day with the kids, or an adventure around town, our “gnar bars” are made to keep you going. Available individually or in packs of six.

Rebecca is also passionate about creating healthier, food-sensitive options, including plant-based power bites (vegan egg bites), gluten-free chocolate-chocolate chip cookies, and plant-based cranberry orange muffins. These items aren’t afterthoughts—they’re carefully developed to be just as satisfying as they are inclusive.

A food lover her entire life, Rebecca grew up cooking alongside her mother, aunts, uncle, and grandmother. Feeding people has always been her love language. When she’s not in the café, you’ll find her in the garden growing ingredients, cooking outdoors, or embracing her adventurous side—whether that’s camping, mountain biking, off-road racing, or car shows. She thrives on challenges, creativity, and bringing people together over great food and coffee.

Welcome in. We’re glad you’re here.
